Thought I would ask to see what people think.

Will 390X/TitanX be the first GPU to run Max Graphics in games with 60 Min FPS on a single card 1920 x 1080

I did not see anywhere to start a poll but if I could, these would be some questions I would ask.

1.Yes
2.No
3.I can already Max out graphics 1920x1080 with my rig and your crazy
4.We need more powerful CPU's due to poor multithreading on CPU cores
5.Wait until Windows 10 and new API's to reduce CPU overhead
6.Nvidia/AMD never want anyone to be able to Max games on single card
7.You just need the best CPU and GPU to Max out games
8.Your asking to much for 60Min FPS just turn down settings
9.1920 x 1080 to low of a resolution for me to even think about it
10.Buy Gsync/Freesync 40 FPS is fine ,problem solved

I have always chased 60 FPS Min in games Maxed out 1920x1080 .
There has never been any single card to be able to do this.

I have always used SLI/Crossfire and still some games can not be maxed out at 1920 x 1080.

I always see people saying this card/that card is overkill for 1920 x 1080 and this is just not true.

For example 10 games 1920 x 1080 under 60 FPS Min

Nope.
Games only get more demanding, every new release someone asks this question.

We're not running 640x480 anymore are we?

Eventually 1080p will become the minimal res that CS players use to grub those few extra frames. And yes CS will still be around. :D

Also 120 mins plox.

Is that real or because Nvidia are based there?

Say this generation is 2 years, my money 1080 will still be the mainstream res for that time ;) so it's a moot point.

Whats max though? stuff like 16x aa? because chasing that is a waste of money and your gpu is overkill if it can do it at "ultra" at your res.

Just an update.I tried Titan X and Titan X SLi seems we need some CPU power. So here is hoping Windows 10 DX12 can help out.
In reality CPU bottleneck in some games at 1080 blah blah blah with Titan cards but they do shine at higher resolutions compared to 970sli/980sli/R9 290/x.

Now waiting for AMD answer in the next couple months.

It would be nice to have my fps stay above 60 with all the bells and whistles one day, Unfortunately it doesn't even stay above 40 with a lot of titles which was the point I was making elsewhere about the current freesync monitors.

I don't even..

Grab a 3930K and X79 mobo for >300ish overclock it to 4.6-4.7 and you're golden.

1080p is severely bottlenecked CPU wise (and looks like turd :p).

1440p or 4K is where it's at.
