Just noticed x2 direct debits in my bank listed ID PROTECT PRO two payments of £15.99 has come out.

I have no idea what it is and how they have managed to get my details, a quick google bings up there webpage and its a scam. On the Google listing there is a link called Jessica, if you click it it brings up all her info

Not sure what to do tbf never had something like this happen. No doubt the company is bogus and I won't get a refund from them, going to ring my banks fraud team now if there open.

Made me happy not :)

ringing the bank is the best option, they will be able to at least advise if not actually do something about it.

suppose reporting it to the police wouldnt be a bad move either

No need to ring the police, the bank will do it.

Just ring them up and let them know, they'll get you to sign a document stating that the transactions are unauthorized, refund you the money, change your cards/pins and you'll never hear anything more of it.

Misses had something similar with love film phoned bank refund done instantly no clue how card info was obtained as that card was not used for anything online

Bank fraud departments are really good. I once had about seven £10 top ups come off my bank account in under 2 minutes. I don't use pay as you go.

Phoned the bank and 10 minutes later I had my money back.

Their privacy policy mentions nothing about their advertised products and is entirely focused on them being a loan brokerage.

It says they run credit checks which will be visible on your credit report so out may be worth checking out your file to check no one has been applying for credit in your name.

The £15.99 per month charge does tally with price of their "ID protection" product.

Two of these appeared on my bank account, I check every few days and just happened to catch it, they cancelled them and blocked them from trying again.

A few days later they tried to take two payments for £15.99.

Not sure how they got hold of my bank details?
