nVidia announce the Titan X at GDC 2015

Hm, tempted to sell my 980s and go for a pair of these now and get the 4k g-sync ips panel when it comes out... :D Question is whether to go x99 at the same time...

If I had a better system I would look at getting one and then possibly another in the future (if the price was right), but right now I would probably need a Haswell-E spec to take advantage of it along with a higher res monitor. It would be interesting to see how it performs in 1080p too, but 4K is mostly what I'm interested in these days.

So 36% faster than a gtx980 at 4k where you would expect the Titan to be at it's strongest. Thats not bad at all. Will be interesting to see what happens at lower resolutions like 1440p.

When overclocked, that grows to around 60% on that one benchmark alone. I suppose that will be against a stock 980/SLI though. People that own 980SLI will know better of the increases an overclock would do to that result at 4K to compare.

Not long though till we have a better picture. 94 minutes.... Time for some WarThunder.

Tbh I cant see your system in sig struggling with two. Now if you were running tri/quad sli X99 would be more beneficial.

Well, as much as I'm enthusiastic now, I'll see what the full reviews say later and then see what our glorious overlords here at OCUK decide to let us pay for it tomorrow.

Single card ftw ! (Unless your benching or an Epeener)

Done exactly this, 4770K / Titan X in Thermaltake V1 Mini-ITX, takes full size cards tis tremendous.

I want to get my order in...

haha, Mini-ITX with a Titan must some kinda crazy pandora's box. Although i might just brave putting it into a mATX case, hope it will fit in the silverstone FTO5
