As long as there's a profile, it looks like I'm still good with Crossfire 290Xs.

Can't justify the spend to myself. My flexible friend will remain flexible for a short while longer..

We're probably 2+ years away from a single GPU that can truly handle 4K.

Titan X looks like the first 'Single GPU' that will be able to cope with 1440P though. That's what I'm after, Nvidia seem to have delivered !

A little disappointing TBH, was hoping for better 4K numbers.

Now that they have confirmed there is no DP use it would be a risk to buy one and sell it on when 390X arrives, it might plummet.

What to do?

You can always buy two, or drop the quality a little - I'm assuming they've turned on all the bells & whistles.

Disagree with this mate.

It's a massive jump in FPS, and first big jump in a long time. Bar has been raised now it's upto AMD.. They could potentially bring this performance level hopefully down to a more affordable price level for people.

Def is exciting times

. If AMD's new cards perform near this level at a lower price point.. Then we'll get some real progression across the board.

Looking forward to trying this card out ! Then whatever AMD brings to the table ..
