** TITAN X NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER!! **

My opinion on the 'value of the card.

While maybe not as 'wow' as the first Titan, and possibly won't stay 'top dog' for as long, this card will still perform at the top end for a considerable time and if your intention is to buy a card that will still knock out pixels at a good rate in 3 years time then its really not that bad an investment.

It will also hold its value fairly well simply due to the name.

The original Titans are still going strong, would imaging these and the new ones would last a considerable amount of time!

I think the only reason the original titans are still a decent midrange card is that we're stuck on the 28nm process. This hasn't happened before in recent GPU history.

Once we move from 28nm to 16nm or whatever process, all current cards should be universally eclipsed by the new generation of cards.

Sat with EVGA right now

No upgrade on warranty for the Titan X it is 3 years across the board.

OK, thanks for confirm.

At least with them though you get to pay to extend it to 5 or 10 years, if you want to... there's one reason for EVGA over other brands.
