So with the launch of the Titan X imminent - can you tell us if existing Titan/780/Ti blocks and backplates will be compatible. Looking at the pcb's and comparing, they look similar enough to the naked and untrained eys, but confirmation either way would be great.

Could seal the deal for me!
 
Looks like a no to me, Of course wait for official confirmation but below I have circled the main problems I see. Ignoring all the smaller component changes/movement.

The holes I have circled will be protruding threaded inserts on your 780/titan blocks and they will foul components when put onto the titan x PCB. I have also circled major components that have moved and would need cooling which would unlikely be touching the 780/titan waterblock correctly.

I have 0 doubt that EK will be making blocks for the titan X. Especially as all the cards are reference design so there is a greater need for a waterblock due to no aftermarket design and there is only 1 PCB layout.
