Think I'm due a break, just frustrated at the game now and throw myself into situation I can't win as I just have zero patience. Win rate completely plummeted over last week, we get the free day of premium and after that come back when I've also moved somewhere with decent broadband in May.
 
I'm starting to wonder if this game is bent, I just had a free premium day and I've been racking up top three spots all afternoon.
I never do this well and today I've just reached 49.1%

Another Mastery in the M8A1 without trying too hard either, somehow it is capable of ridiculously pinpoint shots. Shells that clearly miss the back of a passing tank still magically hit.
 
That's just lag causing, I've had it happen a few times myself.

I play under DreadSQ, currently playing with the Fire Storm Commandos clan (FSC-1). Started playing last July after getting bored with Mechwarrior Online, say hello or just shout NOOB if you see me! :-)

Up until recently I've been playing premium for months, this does not happen to me.

New Type 59 video up by the way, for anyone interested in seeing how I play on a good day.

 
So I've come to the realisation I enjoy playing tanks with derp guns (Sherman3 and KV2) I think theres just something refreshing about being able to deal damage with every shot. Are there any other derp tanks I should consider? (other than the M4 which is essentially the same as the Sherman)
 
Might try and finally grind out the KV-2 next week as I've got a few days off, not sure how much fun I'll have going through the KV-1 for a third time though!

vk2801 emm.. the Russian destroyer line, may not pen every shot but it hits like a tonne of bricks

I enjoy using the KV-1S with the howitzer, quite derpy :D

I used to own this but got so frustrated with the thing...it makes a TOG seem turbo charged:eek::(:mad: I got my masters badge in it rather quickly though :)

And if you do want it, better pay in Gold in game (cost = 850 Gold) rather than the £5.30 at the premium store-----as a 1000 Gold will only cost you £3.07 :)

Note to self, don't play wot when you're ill and have had a bad day... 3 games and I was ready to launch the laptop through the window last night... Sorry for the rage in chat :mad:
 
Well, one game solo was enough for me this morning.

Sums up in a nutshell why this game is farked.

Map was Lakeville I was top heavy in my 112 so went town / church....the other heavies went left:confused::confused::eek::eek::mad::mad:

Needless to say I got quickly outnumbered game lost....Log out.
 
I haven't played for 2 months now. I even rage-uninstalled.

If I ever play again I will need to:

1) STOP caring about win or losing
2) Only focus on the good games even if only 1 in 10
3) Play a lot more in platoons - far easier to help carry

BUT WG, have ruined a great game with the game meta changes over the last 2 years. See my previous posts for why.

Me and Cded have learned regardless of doing the "right thing" in situations like that, DONT. Just go with the herd you stand more chance of dominating 1 flank with them than dieing alone by being in the right :(
 
Yeah amount of times I find myself trying to plug gaps in the map and get hopelessly outnumbered and squashed in record time and end up bottom of the table isn't even funny. Need to just follow the herd and park myself in a best position for whatever tank I'm driving.

I can probably count on my hands how many times I've played in a platoon in my 7k+ games so really need to get more of these going.
