Hi there

It has taken huge effort on the part of both OcUK and Sapphire to get a 295 X2 to sub £500 again, in short Sapphire had to lose $100 per card as that is how much they had to sell them to use below what we last paid to do such a price due to the GBP becoming so weak against USD over last two months. :(

So first of all a huge thank you to Sapphire for making this possible and great work by OcUK for pushing them hard for this deal:

Sapphire AMD Radeon R9 295 X2 8192MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card @ £499.99 inc VAT

No matter what the game or the resolution you can now select the maximum settings even at 4k resolution and enjoy fluid ultimate smooth framerates in latest games such as Titanfall, Diablo 3, Watchdogs and even potential upcoming games such as GTA V and Half Life 3 should they surface.

Featuring a pair of 290X Hawaii GPU's fused onto a single PCB with an advanced PLX chip along with only requiring 2x 8-Pin power connectors.

The other major feature of the 295 X2 is its cooling solution which truly does keep the cards temperatures around 60c even after gaming for hours and it also manages to do this in more or less silence with zero throttling of the cores themselves. Making it one of the smoothest, quietest and easily most powerful graphics card on the market today. If you really crave the most powerful and have or are considering a 4k monitor for gaming then the 295 X2 is the card for you.

If your demands are truly the most powerful experience possible then these cards work great in Crossfire (4 GPU's) and you will be able to smash benchmarks to pieces and have no slow downs in games.

This is the fastest card on the market without a doubt, with huge power and 8GB of VRAM (4GB per GPU). :)

Just wondering as I've not seen any benchmarks, but wouldn't the titanX be faster? (the title, worlds fastest card)

In games where crossfire doesn't scale or barely scales then yeah, the Titan X will cost you another £360 though.

The 295x2 is a great card, let down slightly by being made to wait for profiles and features. When it scales properly in games though there's no other single slot solution that can match it.

It isn't really an 8GN card, each GPU only has 4GB.

Would rather have a Titan X but both way out of my price range. Looking at getting a 970

In the short time I ran one, yes it is a very quick card, however I just couldn't get it to run cool.
It was constantly hitting the 75c limit despite all my efforts to cool it & found it rather noisy.
After a week of messing around with rad placement & fan changes I gave up & switched to 2x Gigabyte G1 970s.
Same preformace, lower Temps & quieter. I'm happy with my choice regardless of the Vram issue, I've not run into any problems with it.
