BF Hardline - AMD cards getting panned (not by much)

I was searching my post history for something and i came across this purely by chance and not only did you make up a quote a day later.

You make up things which people didn't say all the time but to then make up a quote without indicating that you totally made it up in anyway is a new low.

And to top it off you even faked the point with that fake quote when the point to the argument which was not whether it will be done at the driver level or patch in game because no one gives a hoot as long as it works, the argument was that you implied it was being done at the driver level because the other could not be bothered when you have zero to back it up when the fact of the matter it may have to be fixed at the driver level no matter what because its windows 8 not whindow7, but the point is you have no evidence that it could have been fixed with a patch but dice were not interested, if they were not interested they would not be working together with AMD to sort it out..

Take BF4 as a prime example. There is a memory leak issue on AMD GPUs with Mantle and Windows 8.1 and it is left up to AMD to fix it at driver level because Dice don't seem interested.

Way to drag up an old thread and way to miss my point.

Well if you didn't make things up then it would not have happened. and no i did not miss the point of the argument, its you who is trying to change the point because you have nothing to back it up which was DICE cant be bothered, so you tried to imply the point i was in dispute with was about something else which i was not even in dispute with and then claim victory.

I made nothing up and you are still missing my point and until you get it, I am out.

The quote link points to this

The patch to fix the memory leak in BF4 Mantle in windows 7 was in November, and its nothing to do about when and all about your claims that Dice can not be bothered to fix it in windows 8 when the fact is they need help from AMD again to find where the issue was in BF4 Mantle in windows 8 and it was at the driver level, the same like they did with windows 7 and it needed fixing at the game level with a patch.

Its nothing more than collaborating to find the issue to find out who needs to fix what and where, it happens all time time.

The game makers release patches and the gfx card makers release drivers for a particular game, its seem like this common reality is new to you and if a game patch is released its because the gfx card makers were to lazy to make a driver and if a driver is released then its because the game makers were to lazy to release a patch as if all issues can be fixed from one side, sometimes it needs both sides, sometimes it has to be done on one side because it can not be fixed from the other.

Nowhere in the article does it imply anything about can't be bothered.

Which part of it does it say

from the quote you are trying now to claim you cut it from.

I'm not missing the point as you has none in relation to what i was in dispute about with "Dice cant be bothered", because i was not in dispute to whether there is going to be a driver fix, why would i be when the links say they are working on a driver fix, so you have no point and the fact you had to make it up is proof that it was not the point i was in dispute with.

Seems nVidia users are suffering in this game. I have only had a real quick play to see what I bought and after chasing after the bad guy in the car at the start, the driving physics need some work :o looks ok from my quick play and hopefully the MP offers something slightly different to BF4, as it pains me to play that now.

I did try running fraps for my benching article but sadly no go :(

Although its fun to follow

Some of you lot should just get a Room- or a Ring to fight it out

The Big Dookeroo

Now that would be worth watching

If nvidia users are getting the dx error (swap chain), they need to roll back to another driver. 340.52 worked for me.

Fraps doesn't work with it, neither does FLAC calculator.

Hopefully the TX will be ok or I will be royally screwed unless I modify that driver to accept the TX.
