I am looking to get a Black Ice Nemesis GTS 280 radiator and a Black Ice GT stealth 420 radiator.

They will be used to cool a I5 4670K and a R9 290x and was wanting to know if anyone had either of the radiators and if so what temps were you getting?

I ran a 1.36v 2550k and 1.2v 780 on thin 360mm and 240mm radiators. 1000rpm pull fans in a h440 got me temps of about 50C for the GPU and 65C for the CPU under max load.

Expect your GPU temp to be lower and CPU will probably be higher.

Might be a stupid question

But would a set of thicker radiators give me lower temps than the thin radiators.

Or would I have to add more radiators to see a larger drop in temps?

Well there are lots of factors involved, What fans will you be running? and at what speed ? having a thick rad with virtually no airflow due to slow fan speeds will offer less performance that a thinner rad with reasonable airflow. I run reasonably "thin" rads 1X360 and 1X140 with my spec below but have fans running silently, I can game for hours with the water temp only just hitting 40c

Not sure what fans I will be using yet.

But would I see a large difference in temps from the output of the thin radiators or the thick radiators

Not really with the amount of rad space you plan on using,a 280mm and a 420mm is overkill for what you intend to cool.
