** TITAN X NOW IN STOCK!! **

Yea absolutely, gaming is far more GPU limited than CPU limited.

Grab Titan X sell GTX 690, than later move onto something like Skylake / Cannonlake, there's no point buying into Haswell atm with Skylake so close. Once you're on that new chipset your good with Skylake through Cannonlake, why buy into Haswell so late.. New GPU, then later new CPU / Mobo etc..

I was thinking of a 5930/60 when skylake comes out and they drop in price

I agree bro, but hard evidence is if I'm able to run 4k in my games. I think it's down to how the game runs . just want me bad boys boohoo NOW

Absolutely and there is nothing saying you must have AA maxed out. 4K has the ability to hide the jaggies without the need for masses of AA as well.

Edit:

Looking above, I doubt you really care now :D

Don't have a heartattack on us man :)

We need those bench runs for the Owners Thread

The 690 is a great card still but...... 2GB of VRAM isn't great for some of todays games :(

Yeah that one of main reasons I wanted to get rid before 2GB ram cards become worthless.

To be honest I will probably sell Titan x in 6 months time as I am looking to work abroad come end of the year.

Hence I did not want to spend heavily on upgrading CPU, motherboard and RAM.

My Gigabyte is in the process of shipping - woot, will be here tomorrow. Only downside is I cant fit it to my watercooled rig without a block. So just for testing will put it in the other slot.:D

Oh well, changed my order for the Gigabyte as I didn't want to wait in case it didn't make it today and saved £60 notes

Just wondering when the evga sc cards will be in? I ordered one on the 20th without signing into my oc account. Just used amazon payments. Don't know if that makes a difference?

Thanks for the feedback, I have given in and ordered a Gigabyte one. :)

if I can get 200 back for the 690 it will lessen the blow somewhat.

I just decided to check my emails........

God choice guys, this will be the best Nvidia card for sometime and with games like Witcher 3 and Arkham Knight being Nvidia sponsored it likely will be the best experience for those.

I didn't enjoy Witcher 2, it was too linear, prefer skyrim, and eso for ie. but that's off topic. these will be in my system for at least 4 years.

I'm not and don't have the money to do this regular.

but I am totally excited.

Just tried to buy the MSI but got non-typical spend blocked. Got a call from bank instantly and card is good to go, wonder how long to wait before trying again?
