So a TV show, which he created, of which he is a head writer/producer and lead presenter, is one of your fav shows, but not because of him? O.o

This thread is a prime example of why I try not post in threads even considering I have viewed the forums for over 15 years. Personal tit for tat conversations taking over subject based reading to the point where its dull, boring and franking childish.

Please go away and create a grudge thread some where so you and others can fight each other and the rest of the members can go back to enjoying this thread and the forums.

Umm, no. If you compared Shameless UK/US to Office UK/US that would have made sense.

It's more like.....GMTV / GMB ;)

Its no where near as good a production, and well filmed as Top Gear, the presenters are too hollow and unfunny, the format is boring, its like reading a copy of your generic car buyers guide mag thats stuck to the TV screen using celotape
 
Apparently, whilst being shown on Discovery, Fifth Gear had 142,000 viewers per episode. Considering Sky itself has its boxes in some 10 million homes, Virgin around 4 million and others suppliers as well that doesn't seem to be that popular. Granted not all of them will have a package that gives them Discovery but it's still very low. I've watched the odd episode, well part of them, and it's never grabbed me.

I don't actually car about cars, what I liked about TG was the interaction between the 3 of them. It's the same for Pointless. I don't care about the actual quiz show, unless I get a pointless answer, what I enjoy is the way Alexander Armstrong and Richard Osman mess about and take the **** out of the contestants.
