Got one to test a set up and as i have it in the rig i want to see what i can get out of it.

One night only as my i5 4690k comes tomorrow.
Cooling is custom water.

So...
What sort of clocks should i be looking for
Max volts on ring and core.

Same as any haswell cpu

Vcore you will be fine upto 1.35v(could go higher) on water
Vring 1.20-1.25

Your more likely to hit your chips limits before these voltages become usefull probily.

hahaha :)
so....

5Ghz no post
4.9Ghz Post no boot
4.8Ghz post no boot
4.7Ghz and i am posting this to you right now :P

this thing fly's haha just got a 180 on cinebench

it will boot and bench at
4.7Ghz @ 1.325v any lower = BSOD
4.5Ghz @ 1.3v Playing BT4 max 52c

4.7ghz was bench stable on 1.4v.

i am working on dropping vcore now.
any advice on where the uncore clock should be for 4.5Ghxz core clock

I thin i had my ring voltage all wrong, i have set it to adaptive now and my vcore is at 1.235 for 4.5Ghz(still working on dropping)

i can't remember much but i dont think the uncore or cache ratio overclocked very well on either of mine. 1:1 ratio is best, but i would think 40x or more should be ok for 4.5ghz.

right now i have.

core. 45 @ 2.225. any less is a no boot, but stable at that.
uncore. 40 @ adaptive +0.100(1.075(in HWMonitor)). not played with this just know it boot at that
