Terrible Kids Strap Birds To Fireworks To Play Real-Life ‘Angry Birds’

CfPSptH.jpg

Chinese kids are strapping fireworks to sparrows so they explode in mid-air like the projectiles in Angry Birds.

According to Daily Mail, 45-year-old Huang Chu discovered the twisted game when he saw children frantically fleeing a park in China’s Shaanxi province.

He soon found them to be running from a firework tied to a live sparrow.

The fuse was out, so he took a picture of the poor creature and let it go.

Chu then discovered the kids had already set off several fireworks attached to birds, the remains of which were scattered throughout the area.

Some of the birds they used had apparently been captured after being shot down in mid-air by catapults.

Chu said,

I spoke to an older boy who told me that the others had been playing Angry Birds, shooting the fireworks across the park and pretending to be playing the video game of the same name.

Angry Birds requires users to launch birds at objects that then collapse or explode.

Chu says he put the photos online to prompt Chinese officials to strengthen the country’s animal protection laws.

what the ****, some one should attach a firework to them

I suppose burning ants with a magnifying glass is frowned upon these days. Or making flies hibernate and putting them in string.

And rofl, the writer wants china to improve animal rights, how about they fight for human rights first.

Just a couple/few kids rather than the hundreds of millions of Chinese kids out there, probably under the influence of a newb psychopath getting ready for bigger deeds.

I once burnt ants with a magnifying glass as a child.
it wreaked so bad I never did it again.

WTF hibernating flies?

Nobody did salt on a slug?

Although this is a bit more extreme.

Indeed.

I am not disturbed by stamping on slugs, swatting flies or gassing wasps nests because I come from a culture that considers these as loathsome pests and therefore considers them fair game

I am disturbed by this because I come from a culture that values Birds and considers them beautiful.

I also come from a culture that Values cats and considers them beautiful too.

Chinese culture does not share these values, It does not mean that they are wrong in any objective sense.

But it does mean that I do not like it!

Chill flies down in the freezer and they pass out, tie string on and let them warm up.
One pet fly you can take for a walk, I mean fly.
