Went pretty damn smooth, no leaks during the leak test the only fiddle was getting the tubes on the compression fittings and plugging the 8pin cpu lead in with the rad installed (Had to pull the rad out slightly to plug it in) other than that the instant reduction in temps is insane literally 20-25c cooler than my AIO cooler and quiet although still playing with things to get every noise decoupled

Will need to think about those GPU's soon but for now couldn't be happier

Using:
XSPC 16/10 compression fittings
Heatkiller 3.0 cpu block
EK X-res 140 CSQ res(DDC)
DDC 18w pump
Primochill 16/10 tubing
Black ice stealth gt240 rad
Mayhems Blood red X1 coolant
+ drain point via bitspower fittings

Bought most of it 2nd hand on the MM here probably saved £80 , what do you guys think?:D

I know this pump :D

It is looking really nice, I saw that you were worried about the pumps noise, how is it? did you connect to your fan controller?

Very nice dude.

MM is great for 2nd hand watercooling parts. Most of my stuff in my loop is 2nd hand too.

nice work, it's something i've considered but a mixture of laziness and fear of drowning my pc is putting me off.

Does look awsome though

works great on my fc , pump isnt too bad but i need better foam under it, 2500 rpm is nice for sleeping with

This, I haveno ides with WC, I'll stick to my AIO until I am brave enough to do it right!

Good work dude, looks like a tidy job.

i was nervous but once you get going it was done in no time, probably the worst part was filling the res I spilled some fluid and it looked like a murder scene still got red staining on my hand much to the dismay of the wife who had to clean up ;)

in total probably took 4 hours including pulling apart the old cooler, de-dusting and figuring out how to place things in the case as neat as possible. Turning the pump on for the first time and filling the loop was the most nerve racking but honestly it passed an hours leak test perfectly (if it doesn't leak in an hour you are highly unlikely to encounter a problem) and subsequently has been powered on since doing great as long as you take your time with the fittings to make sure they are both secured in properly and the compression rings are evenly screwed on your not going to encounter an issue, one of my 90 degree rotary fittings (XSPC) was leaking from the rotary joint luckily I tested it outside the case first however my 45 degree rotary also made by XSPC is fine so it seems rotary fittings can be hit and miss and should be checked outside the case first

As long as you watch a good few video guides to get all the information you need first you should be grand, I found it helpful to watch some Do's and Don't, when filling the loop I had my drain system hooked up and ready to go just in case

I had a 120MM AIO antec 620 "Khuler"
Idle on that was around 35 degrees but gaming load could hit 70-75c depending how warm my room was at the time, prime 95 would send it to 85c region

with the watercooling loop my idle temps are 30c and don't really change where as the Antec 620 the core temp would be jumping all over the place but the load temps while gaming hit only 50c and using prime95 max temp I've seen is 60c so a huge improvement now to push my chip to 5Ghz!

NIce work there. Just be careful when you are moving anything around in your case as it could still spring a leak. I like to leak test at full temperature as well (ie gaming). When you place your paper towels, make sure you take mavity into account. I had a leak once which ran down the pipe before dripping off and it took forever to find it.

Give it a couple of months then you can get the GPUs and an extra radiator into the loop :)
