Weird nice feeling sensation?

There's some great vids on Youtube you should check out of girls whispering, or tapping their nails on things. Totally bizarre.

some greats vids elsewhere of women breathing heavily and moaning in ecstasy.

gives me a weird sensation seeing them to happy

I know how to feel happy and appreciative, this is different.

If anyone experiences similar, I'd imagine they would relate to what I am trying to describe.

I wasn't being silly, it is genuinely just a good feeling. I know exactly what you're referring to (I believe), but I can't imagine it has another name, it's just a good feeling? In extreme circumstances, it can almost feel like a (positive) chill.

No this isn't normal I'm afraid. Most people feel nothing when others do things for them. I feel cold and empty all of the time, if I were to feel good about something I would be rushing to A&E.

No problem. I only actually found out about the name of it in the past year. It is interesting.

I get it sometimes when Indian call centres phone up - something to do with the tone and tempo of their patter I suspect. Also, got it massively playing Spate just a week or two ago.

Exactly the same as me, I always used to experience it when I was younger when having a haircut or at the doctors. I used to think it was just me so I was so glad when I found out last year that it actually has a name and other people get it too :)

Psychologists also notice a feeling in people when we witness charitable acts.

When we see someone do something nice for someone in a charitable sense ie give some food to a homeless person you get that feeling inside your chest all tingly inside. They named it "elevation" and it happens because we are meant to all care about each other. There is a deep sense of satisfaction we get when helping others.

But in a very self absorbed society we've all lost that a little bit.

"Elevation is an emotion elicited by witnessing virtuous acts of remarkable moral goodness. It is experienced as a distinct feeling of warmth and expansion that is accompanied by appreciation and affection for the individual whose exceptional conduct is being observed. Elevation motivates those who experience it to open up to, affiliate with, and assist others. Elevation makes an individual feel lifted up and optimistic about humanity."

Call centers is a good point! I get it then too, I guess its the helping aspect!

Yep, I was the same and I also used to get it, oddly, when someone borrowed something of mine! o_0 I do still get it from time to time and the 'rush' is always at the top of a breath, just before I breathe out. It's probably a dopamine rush or something.

Borrowing stuff is another good example!

EdGey yeah, I feel like it predominately in the head... more towards the back. Well it at least starts there, feels like it intensifies and moves on downwards also!

Interesting to have a suspected name for it, always had these feelings but only ever done soft google searches, didn't occur to ask anyone!

I have a feeling that it may be an evolutionary thing. If you watch primate grooming, both parties, but especially the recipient, seem to be in a kind of blissful state.
