Hello,

I have purchased from Amazon a Micro SD class 10 128GB card and I am wondering how to check if it is genuine or not ?

Depends on the make, I had a sandisk fail on me and I sent them pics of the front and back. There was a tiny serial number etched on the back that they can validate. They replaced it under warranty :)

The card died and only displayed a capacity of 13Gb.
I have now returned it Amazon.

This is he only card I have had that has failed on me..

What is the best site for ordering a genuine Micro SD card from ?

The card I ordered from amazon was posted from Ireland, and the packaging was not the same as other Scandisk products I have had in the past !

When ordering from Amazon, you need to be aware of whether it's actually being sold by Amazon, or by a Marketplace seller.

These have the most likelihood of being genuine - and being Sold by Amazon, they are usually very good if they are not genuine.

However, you also find listings which state either:

"Sold by XXXX and fulfilled by Amazon" or:

Amazon has no control over these products, and it is highly likely it will be a fake. This then means you are not dealing with Amazon for any issues.

Of course - OcUK sell MicroSD cards... (although not 128GB ones), so really we should be saying "Buy from OcUK"
