*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

I noticed that the option to turn off the soft key lights were missing on the store demo unit. Hope it's there on retail unit, as I despise them.

Had a long play on Edge and normal today, nice phone to hold and the Edge feels thinner than it is due to the edge thickness.

I don't know ow what the lag free claims were about though as I noticed some micro stuttering in things like pulling down the notifications bar and sliding out the menu in Google Maps.

Other than that it was pretty sweet but feels no different in performance and feel to the Z3 running Lollipop. I prefer typing on the non edge, the keyboard spanning the edges got annoying rather quickly but the non Edge doesn't feel or look anything special whereas the Edge does. You'd be pretty mad in the head to get an S6 at retail cost of you already have a Z3. I couldn't tell much difference with the added screen resolution either, it's sharp but it's not a phablet so the resolution doesn't make much difference.

Maaan I only looked because you said "she" but you're damn right she is givinit some, impressed with the phone and her dedication and commitment to the "drop"

What I've taken away from that video is... Don't mess with the wife unless you have an S6...

Same thing happened with the normal S6. Placeholder.

A proper ad would have the pre-order option.

thats been on there for a week or 2, but yeh a placeholder :)

If you search S6 then it will say at the top "notify me when this goes to pre-order, which is amazon's own listing for what it looks like they will be selling.

Still wondering why its taking so long..

^Great article azibux1, I like the camera shoot out with the iphone 6 and am looking forward to the complete review.

Good luck with the case fingers crossed the seller will sort it out for you.

Look out gentlemen! I'm tempted to order! (Can anyone tell me how hard it is to return something to Amazon.de.... just incase? ) ;)

Apparently it can be a bit pricy but if it's a genuine fault you can get them to refund the postage if you send then a copy of the receipt.

I emailed Amazon.de a little while back about the very same thing, basically if its faulty they can arrange to collect the phone and they'll pay for it, but if its just a change of mind then you'll have to pay for it, and as said above me, it can be expensive, especially with the insurance needed etc..?

May well wait for amazon uk to get stock of it then! Had a go on an S6 in Tesco and it seemed pretty nice! Their contracts aren't all that bad I don't think incase that's the better way of buying one!

They'll refund the return shipping whatever it costs. I've returned a fair few items to them :)
