Nicked a wheel

Admittedly I'd think twice about it. However, I haven't been bitten yet so I'm not twice shy :) Certainly for junctions without cameras I'd do it in heartbeat.

Interesting debate. Personally I'm with Freefaller - I couldn't just sit there and would risk getting caught by a camera if need be. I'd obviously appeal it though and would hope to get dispensation given the circumstances, although that's not guaranteed.

Without cameras I do the same as you, but you can and will get prosecuted if you go through one with a camera on it, so I always stay put if there is one.

He is by no means the only one either.

No I'm sure. However, I am sure some people have had their case overturned as well. However, I would take it on a case by case situation I think - but that's just my own personal take on it. I wouldn't scorn people for not doing it - but if there was no red light camera I wouldn't think twice of moving across the line.

Alternative is just to give emergency situations free reign to ram people out of the way :p

The way I look at it, no one would think twice about it if they knew the ambulance was on its way to help a friend or family member so why should it make any difference whoever it is?
