A new dawn is upon us.
I lack one of the fundamental joining requirements. Having a belief in a higher power.
That is the Illuminati and not Illuminate
Do you?
As I'm a humanist and not religious, my belief is "Higher Power" = Humanity.
I was initiated into Freemasonry 7 years ago.
And if we control the world then someone has forgotten to tell me.
Last June, Sergey Glazyev, Vladimir Putin’s chief economic advisor, published an article outlining the need for an international anti-dollar alliance. He called upon allies to eliminate the dollar from international trade and trend toward depleting them from currency reserves. Recent dollar-less BRICS energy deals, currency swaps and foreign direct investment indicate that trend is taking place.

I believe you have to get someone to nominate you, not 100% sure though. Which is why I said I can get into it if I wanted too.I think most people could get membership if they really wanted it(membership is by an anonymous vote not by having a family member or other connection), they've got lodges associated with universities, schools, army regiments etc... in addition to the various local ones and yeah it does mostly just seem to be an excuse for socialising.
