Behind you... Naked!
I got 3 mobility scooters now, and all have some issue or another.
One that I am working on at the moment, is a RASCAL 388 Deluxe.
The previous owner has done a bit of rewiring in the head unit as the potentiometer was cack ( this is also the issue on the scoot too ) but I cannot see the original wires and so I simply dont have a clue as to what wires I need to put to it.

Its not like he has simply plonked teh 2 wires to each other and then slapped soem insulting tape on it, ther is simply no wires at all that are spare, and no actul evidence at any of the connections of them actually snipping the wires right down... Its as if there was never any wires at all?

So, if anyone either :-

(a) Has access to a Rascal 388 and can provide me with a photo of the wiring underneath the head-cover.

(b) Knows of a link to help me find such info ( Google has failed me after hours of searchign using all kinds of silly words to get at any info )

Then I will be forever in your debt, and I will pay you £1000 punds once I can walk again, and thats a promise. hehe

LOL... I dunno about that.

I have spoken to people about getting any of my buggies to go faster than they do, and there is mixed replies.

ATM they do 5, 8 and Zero LOL

OP is lazy. (Not from using a scooter), from lack of sensible Google search. ;)

"Rascal Mobility Scooter Manufacturer" brings back a link to the very manual for the 388:

http://www.discountscooters.co.uk/media/wysiwyg/electricmobilityrascal388rangeownersmanual_1.pdf

It also contains the phone number for the manufacturer, or could be the distributor - Electric Mobility Euro LTD. Either way I am sure they will be able to help you.

And here is their FB page:

Oh ha ha ha to the popcorn posts... Admittedly... Im giggling too, but...

Those links I have already found. They gave me nothing of use.

Ok, maybe I should have also added, that I have already done a massive search going though numerous places with all of them unable or unwilling to help and at best I get sent to X who then tell me the same and then send me to Y who then tell me the same who then send me to Z who then... You get the message.

I also found those links, I downloaded the manual andits the same as the one I already have. I promise you that you have told me nothing that I have not found out myself.

I eventually went through NABD and they got back to me after half an hour and told me that a hospital not too far from me, also does the Mobility stuff and there was a guy in there who was able to tell me the wiring for it.

So thanks to anyone who had a genuine moment of thought for someone who was in genuine need of help.
