295X2 Quadfire issues?

Hey guys, added a second 295X2 to the mix today, booted up and MSI Afterburner/GPU-Z is only showing three GPUs active. Not only this the third GPU has no usage when running programs, it's like its in crossfire mode still.

Has anyone had similar issues please with hopefully a fix.

The card works on its own so its not a faulty card. System in SIG. Thought it was my motherboard at first but that supports quadfire, im lost :(
 
So are you saying you are running 2x 295x2??

I remember TTL doing a quadfire review and not many games supported quadfire. some games just refused to start.

And if its not showing in msi ab, proabably a reinstall would fix it nt sure.

Yep 2 x 295X2's. Not tried much just anything I have tried is the same performance as a single 295X2. Ungine Heaven been one of them
 
Only have the two slots im afraid on the Z77 Sabertooth. Really am lost, its almost like its not seeing the card but is :S is they a setting I've maybe missed off?
 
Should be fine from what ive been told/

Disabled ULPS in regedit, tried a full system wipe with new windows. PC wont even boot now with both cards in argh :(
 
Let me know how you get on pal. I've had 2x6990's, then 2x7990's... however this time around I went tri fire and it's running sensational... I'd love to have quad back but have to admit... it was more hassle than it was worth, when it flies it flies... but in games AMD give all the advertising c0ck but they don't caer about quadfire and thus games suffer. I know my BF3/BF4 ran crap with quadfire and also Mantle went mental on 4 GPU's.

Hi bud sure will. I cannot even get my computer to boot properly with the two cards in, and when it does i get black screens all over the place, im starting to think the titan x might have been the better option sigh

What PSU you running? All on seperate rails?

TBH, I'm running BF4, maxed at 5760x1080 with 4xMSAA etc etc.... and running 80fps in onine gaming... going over 100 and as low as 60fps.... they're epic cards... so balls to Titan... lol

eBay them man, you'll get quite a bit for them then get a pair of Titans :cool:

Proper SLi support instead of the poor Crossfire one...

Superflower 1300W which I believe has one huge single rail? :D

They are good cards that's why I thought the second one would be a good idea im just lost as to what's gone wrong, I can play them both as single cards but wont run is quadfire at all, yet my motherboard supports quadfire :S

It would be the one Titan im afraid couldn't afford two but not sure if that takes me to sub part a single 295X2, would I not be back tracking? :( gutted don't know what more I can do... Anyone local to me who has a clue please? haha
 
Drop me a trust message bud along with a DXDIAG.TXT report and we'll see if we can fix whatever is causing the problem.
 
Hardare-wise AMD rock the absolute house imho, second to absolute NONE!!

They just need to improve their software support, and after they do they'll dominate again :cool:

Hey bud if I can get back onto my PC I sure will, its almost like its corrupted my system argghhh haha, cleared CMOS the lot with no joys. 295X2 is awesome 2 of them must feel even better when there working
