When you search for 'samsung galaxy s6 edge' on the rainforest the it no longer gives the link about being emailed when available for preorder.
wonder if that means preorders are happening today.
Amazon Rep: I have checked with my internal team and can confirm that the item will be in stock with us once it releases and however since the alerts for customers have reached the maximum cut off it has been removed.
I'm either going with Amazon.de depending on the exchange rate at the time or Mobilefun.
I went with mobilefun with the S4 had to wait a long time as they couldn't get stock. They wouldn't respond to emails and people had to communicate with them via twitter and facebook. But they were the cheapest.
i won't be getting the s6. it seems they to trying get like apple, not having a remove able battery. so if the battery becomes faulty, the whole is useless.

plus they've removed the sd slot, which is a bad move.
having a glass back is silly because that could easy crack if dropped
as it's also not water resistance or not even having a water resistance version is a bad move.
I think someone put that they will replace the battery for free within 2 years of purchase? Also someone has already figured out how to change the battery quite easily.

You can replace the battery, but it just involves a bit more work.
but u have to take the whole phone apart? if so, most people won't be happy to do that
There are more storage options this time and they are more readily available. Plus comes with cloud storage.
i know that, but if you have the 32 or 64GB version for example, if your on a day out somewhere and your taking lots of photos / 4k and/or 1080p videos, all that space will be used up quick, uploading to cloud via 3g/4g while your out would take to long.. having a sd slot would give you the option to have 4 or 5 32 or 64GB cards in your bag then once card is full just change it to a empty one
Have you seen that video of the crazy girl throwing the phone to the ground?
yes but i seen in one other video the guy said he cracked the back or something (maybe the len, i'm not sure), when the phone fell backwards on the table
Looks pretty water resistant to me. Do you often go swimming with your phone? Plus the S5 had this and was ugly and bulky.
it's not, one guy put in water and after awhile it showed damage and he suggests not to get water on it
i know lots of people feel that having the water resistant makes the phone look ugly, personally i don't think it does. also it's a must have feature for me because where im out my phone is on my wheelchair in front of me on a bar, if it rain light or heavy i don't have to worry about it getting damaged
Ummm I'm just going to assume Gareth is high.
While I've done it plenty of times myself and would welcome the opportunity in the S6 range, I can't say I've ever seen anyone in person replace a battery in a smartphone, let alone an SD card. Who actually carries extra MicroSD cards around with them?

Exactly, it's a phone not a dslr.
