I've been a naughty boy

You will get between 4 and 6 points or 7 to 21 day ban.

A fine of starting point of 100% your weekly income (75 - 125% of relevant weekly income)

So the guidelines say.

Did you send your licence in?

Looks like they've never received your acceptance of the conditional offer. Did they take the money?

Yes, I paid and have a receipt all done online. Paper copy of license sent but not had it back yet, never chased as I thought it was normal to work slowly at their end

Try driving an Astra J 1.7 diesel, i'm lucky to achieve 80mph without bits falling off.

I'm an audi / bmw hinderance!

I was this morning. Seemed to not like the speed limit and then had to blast it past everyone and squash in further up.. in the same line of cars and continue to sit at the same speed.

UPDATE [16:46]: I paid the conditional offer of £100 and 3 points back in December - I thought that the matter was over

This is very odd, the entire point of a fixed penalty notice is to avoid wasting court time for relatively trivial offences. Probably worth phoning the court, or even turning up in person to discuss this.

The only thing I can think of is if your cheque bounced or they didn't received it, but I'd have thought you'd have had some correspondence before a summons.

This all seems abit harsh for doing 94mph. Thought it was not anymore than 3 points and a fine if its less than the 100mph+?
Op how could u not see a big van parked up with a camera pointing out? :p

I paid online and have a receipt so need to chase the court when they open which will be after the Easter closure

I wonder how many on here have never been over speed limit? Nil probably.

I have had several points over my 30yrs of driving. Sometimes it is hard not to speed!

The people that sit in the vans catching people are hypocrites. But in all fairness if you are doing speeds worthy of a ban during the times they are out during mid day then that's kinda understandable.

You need to speak to the Central Ticket Office for the force that issued the ticket and find out what's going on. It looks like they may have never received/lost your licence or there is some sort of administrative error here.

They should withdraw the summons once someone has a look at it.

Exactly! nobody seems to stick to the speed limit these days. On my daily motorway commute it seems 70mph isn't fast enough for most people even in the middle lane! The amount of cars in the outside that seem to do 100+ is unbelievable.
And on average 30-40 roads you get people constantly tailgating u riding an inch off your bumper it's crazy.
