I've read about and people say you are meant to set the cpu ring voltage to exact same as cpu voltage ?

Your CPU does not have Turbo, so set the CPU ratio to the max desired value.

I left Vring on auto and have had as high as 4.7/4.8Ghz on the uncore/cache (same thing different names).

Thats what i did.

You also also want to increase Vrin, usually around .8v more than vcore, but try 2v.

LLC to extreme.

Ah okay why all the info out there saying you must run cpu ring voltage at same as cpu vcore then ? weird so it's like old boards where you could just leave PLL etc on auto and it's all about the vcore juice.

I don't get it some are saying voltage has to be the same others not hmm think i'll give up til the correct way is known.

Why all the guides saying uncore should be same ratio and the ring voltage and others saying uncore ratio can be left on auto very confusing.

in this guide for example he is saying the Ring voltage must match the Cpu vcore voltage and the uncore ratio should ideally match the cpu ratio ?

Have also read that LLC is pointless on haswell and doesn't do anything much ?

LLC eliminates droop.

Under load the Vcore can creep down from what you set, LLC will keep it up.

Nope, stick it on extreme.

Also PWM phases, stick them on extreme too.

Whatever guides you have been looking at, chuck in the bin and read this

I thought a much lower uncore ratio created a bottleneck ? like it should be within 300mhz of the cpu ratio
