How can I scam this scammer?

Have an item listed on Gumtree, second email from this scammer:

Am ok with the condition of the item,Am ready to buy the item for my
son and i will be paying you 1,500Pounds for the item and its postage to my Son Via Royal Mail,As am currently with my sick grandma in wales,so i can't come for the item with cash in hand.... Do you have a paypal account? Can you send me some picture?

What are they trying to do (I presume pay, I post, they request refund?) and how can I do them over to teach them a lesson?

They pay you send a brick with insufficient postage they refund they then have to pay the post office to retrive the item open it up and find a brick.

this...... but make sure you take a crap on the brick first and then wrap it in cellophane to preserve the moist aromas. Add a small note that says "smell this and know what you are" as a finishing touch.

I am betting they are paying with a credit card and will do a chargeback. Seems to be the in thing at the mo'

Couldn't you ask he transfers the money and as soon as he does cancel your card associated with the PayPal account and get a new one.

PayPal can't take the money back then if he tried a refund
