A1 vs Mini (it's an old vid but probably still relevant)

Even older vid, but Mini vs. DS3

Finally, this one

I had a DS3 Dsport Petrol on lease for 2 years. Was a good car and surprisingly quick but very french :) Lots of rattles and quite cheap inside. Uncomfortable seats as well.

I would probably have the A1 out of those three. Mainly because I can't stand the exterior looks of the Mini though.

Mini. Was never a fan till I tried one.

Plus, i'd always think of the A1 as being the sister - to the Polo and Fabia - who assumes they're better.

The new Audi's feels cheap inside compared to the older gen, the mini seems like a more fun car to drive.

Not sure about the A1 though, as I only drove a A3 2014 and as a passenger in S4 2014.

Edit:

What about BMW 1 series?

Same here, Had a 2003 mini was good but a bit heavy (harder to driver) for a first time driver but thought the new mini must be much better.

thats the reason im thinking of a A1, more power then a polo, but will still have the same quality, and the badge.

What about BMW 1 series?

it needs to be a small car, the driver is small and a fist time driver (not driven for long)

so anthing the size of mini DS3 is about tight

I have thought about the fiesta - 208 - corsa

but i have a few issues with them, one the power, badge, cheap inside and price.

Im thinking something with something with similar power as the mini cooper so i can have fun with it also.

The new model Mini came out last year and is absolutely excellent. Well built, refined, just a very good if not the best small car.

Out of those the mini will be the best to drive but it isn't really the best looking thing, especially from the back. The A1 is a bit expensive for what it is. I'd be looking for a higher spec polo (something like the Blue GT) as it will have 99% of the build quality of the A1 and drive the same.
