*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

Not surprised that there are already stock issues. Hopefully Samsung store have stock. Does anyone have experience ordering the S5 from Samsung direct?

Hold on, last year Samsung even created ads to mock the 'I-bendy' now suddenly that's not important with their 'S-bendy'. Bizarre.

They are lucky Apple have too much class for that sort of childish phone advertising.

Apple have class? Think I missed that memo.

I've decided against getting the wireless charger. The heat generated possibly doesn't make a huge difference to battery life but that's honestly not something I want to risk given the "average" battery life the S6 and S6 Edge have to begin with.

the problem is Samsung as copyed/made the s6 a lot like apple phone meaning the finger print works like the iPhone 5S/6 fingerprint, no removeable battery just like iphones, no sd slot just like iphones...

it seems like they are slowly turning in to likel apple

May want to go back to the apple forum then? I'm surprised you keep posting in this thread if the phones ****.

So now Am.de have said the pre-orders will be delayed? Seriously whats going on with the rainforest, no UK listing and .de is now saying delays.

Will wait it out and see who has the best price for the S6 64GB in blue, in no hurry just yet, GTA5 will keep be occupied enough :D

To be fair apple have a long track record of copying technologies/functionality and making them better. I don't see any issue with it to be honest.

why would i want to go in the apple forum? i don't like apple products..

i was really hoping the s6 would be my next upgrade from s5. i've always bought Samsung phones because of their features/performance

just because someone says some negative things about a product, people shouldn't just jump down on that person. everybody as the right to say whatever think about products...

everybody is different and have different needs and use things in different ways

The problem is when you have been hating on phones that bend, have glass backs, no removable storage, no removable battery, finger print sensors, sticky out cameras, antenna lines etc the latest Galaxy must be very conflicting for the average Samsung fanboy hence the over reaction. :D

There is only 2 negatives the S6 has no micro sd and removeable battery. None of which bother me. I Can't wAit yo get one and be rid of my note 4.

over reaction??? hmmmm ok..

i'll have to remember that when people do this with other products, which i've seen a lot

I don't and wouldn't use a screen protector but I do use a flip case no micro scratches here on my 2 year old s4.

That's true... Basically it needs some kind of protection while in the pocket, either a flip case / pouch or screen protector... I guess it is unlikely to get scratched while in use, more so when it is in the pocket

I have gone for the Spigen FLEX one as it IS completely edge to edge (confirmed by Spigen) and means I'm not limited to a case with a covered front (I'm not a large fan of flip cases)
