Each to their own. It's not my taste but it's your car so if you like it then fair play to you.

According to the dvla the MOT expired on April 1st though.

I saw one of those gypsy documentaries on channel 4 where a self-made millionaire wheeler dealer gypsy took a lovely old mansion in Essexland, and then filled it with what was his version of classy and tasteful decor. In the end it just looked like a big house full of garish tat.

The same principle kind of applies here.

I'd love to be able to experience a direct comparison but I can't help feeling that air suspension must completely ruin any handling ability that car once had.

I can understand the pursuit of aesthetics over function but it then begs the question, why do it to the most expensive example (that was designed for ultimate function) and not just a 2.0 turbo or something.

As an engineer, the collapsed suspension and wrong wheels look doesn't do it for me but the car looks nice cosmetically as it bodywork and lack of further molestering.

It's air suspension, it raises up when the compressor is on.

Still looks gash with the crap wheels and mad camber yo! - but it's not as bad as totally slammed.

Hmmmmmm, watched the above video and maybe it performs better than I assumed. Would still like to compare myself :p

If air suspension really can perform at a level on par with stock suspension, along with the extreme adjustability (including higher than stock for speedbumps etc) then it's a no brainer if you want that look, as it certainly doesn't look to compromise like coilovers would.

I'm not a fan of the collapsed look due air suspension however even Audi themselves are now using it in their latest RS cars (C7 RS6 as standard!).

PS If you get the chance I'd get it round to MRC in Banbury who are Audi tuning experts as virtually all RS4's are notorious for losing 30-100hp due to a coked up engine and MRC specialise in returning the engine power that's been lost.

I'm not a fan of air suspension due to various reasons, but I do like the idea of lowering the car a little bit e.g. 40-60mm, some nice wheels and de-badging stuff like model type or engine size.

It's your car, so as long as you like the look of it. Don't listen to others peoples opinion, to me the stock RS4 is stunning and doesn't require any modifications.
