Not exactly news or something but as I play the game quite a lot and wanted to mention it for anyone having issues.

The latest patch (2nd April) has changed the settings menus and also added advanced features (*VRAM usage setting* can't remember the name for this exactly).

It has slaughtered performance for - mostly higher end - Nvidia GPUs while lower end AMD GPUs have seen a good boost.

GPU Usage is ranging from 25%-59% for me (mostly in the 38% range) and the minimums are just awful compared to a few days ago.

I would presume that % wise most of the people that play it are on lower end hardware. One of the reasons BLOPs 2 thrives (other than dedicated servers). Look at CS:GO also.
 
Are any of you AMD guys having trouble running the game in Fullscreen mode now. My game refuses to start up in fullscreen mode, and just displays a black screen, I can hear the Audio but I get no display at all.
However if I run the a game in Windowed Mode or Borderless Windowed Mode it runs fine, it only seems to have happened since the update as well.

Alt+tabbing in and out helps with your problem, of what I have read.

I tried that and it just toggled it from 'Windowed' Mode to 'Borderless Windowed' Mode?
I can run the game fine in 'Borderless Windowed' mode and it fills my monitor, I'm just confused as to why I always played the game in 'Fullscreen' mode before (as selected in the graphics options menu), and now when I do that I only get a Black screen with no image :mad:
 
I've been getting crashes since the latest patch. Never during gameplay but once I've finished a level, at the upgrade exo bit. Loads fine once I've restarted it. Performance is great otherwise, sits mostly at 144fps with the odd dip.

You do know he was talking out his behind this time right? AMD has nothing to do with the COD patches, especially as Activision has aligned itself with nVidia, so any blame aimed at AMD should be aimed at Activision.
