I phoned Vodafone, & got her to "Speak to the warehouse" she said my handset is awaiting despatch however if delivered by DPD it should be with me on the 10th but if their workload is high it will be royal mail and can take 3-7 working days.

GAH!

I think she was just spewing ****.

I even offered to pay for DPD delivery & she said it's just down to their workload.
 
I picked up my S6 today. Bit of a muck up as i went to the wrong store and was told they had been instructed to keep all pre orders until the 10th. then went to the store that had phoned me saying it was ready for collection and they gave me it complete with my free wireless charger, might need to buy a lottery ticket tonight lol

Samsung are already off to a bad start. The backlit hardware keys don't have the option to have the lights turned off. Stupid Samsung, the option has always been there in past models and tablets. They make the screen go really dark for low light viewing, but be blinded by the capacitive key lights.

I'll be rooting for sure. You just have to with Samsung.
 
Ahh yes, thats one of my fav things about oled and Samsung phones, they don't blind you in bed >.>. I still think I may get one, seems like its easily the best all around phone of 2015, battery life might be behind the S5 but it really makes up for it. maybe the 1440p display was a tad overkill.
 
Yeh there's no denying 1440p is mega-overkill at this size screen.

The fingerprint log in and web-sign in though is a master stroke.
 
Just called Samsung and it looks like for those of us that ordered through the Samsung store it is indeed 24th April. I got the black edge 64gb.

I do really love touchID, glad Samsung has something similar, and also sort validates no on screen keys. Back button is in the wrong place thou haha.
 
No official word from o2 as yet, but i've no tracking or order details on my o2 page . All live chat told is that my order is in progress, and I'll receive a dispatch email today if i'm due to get it tomorrow .

Mine says "In Progress", but I have a tracking number for 2 parcels for "UK Mail". It doesn't show up in UK Mail's system yet, so imagine it's just been sent off to them.

According to my live chat conversation, mine is in transit and should arrive today apparently.
Nothing on the UKMail website though.
