Marvell 91xx sata 6gb controller

Hi me again sorry. Any way I have searched and searched but couldn't find an answer. Do I need these drivers installed on my motherboard? I have just 1 ssd sata 3 and nothing else on a z77x-ud3h mobo. I installed the intel rapid storage tech driver for achi but not too sure if I need the Marvell driver.

May as well install it if you use those ports.

How can you tell if there been used? Dumb question? Lol? My sata 3 cable from ssd goes into a black sata 3 port on mobo if that is any help.

The marvel ports are a specific colour (grey normally i think)

Sorry not black there the sata 2 ports what not got anything in. Sata 3 are in the white port or they look white to me. Just had the case off.

The marvel chip controls just the two esata on the rear (i just checked)
