Me to, runs really well on my 7990 with the new beta drivers and it dose not sound like it's stressing the card either. My 7990 sound loads louder when playing evolve.

I have a question about soft shadows in the graphics settings, which setting should be better? soft or the AMD option? I noticed the AMD option used about 12mb less vram, but I'm not short of vram .

Yeh I think it is really cpu intensive so you probably are not getting 100 usage on on your 7990. I haven't been getting 100% usage on a single 980!

Still runs great though but its clear you need a powerful cpu for this game.

Yeah sorry I wasn't very clear. My specific question was which room on the server should I join? I can't see a gtav one and dint want to room hop interrupting people.

No, disk not required after initial installation, same for most DVD versions these days. Loading is slow for me compared to some other recent games like FC4 although if you die & click retry it loads quite fast

No.

Load times are actually quite good. I didn't have enough space on my SSD so installed onto a mechanical and haven't had any issues at all, even in the very fast cars driving through traffic etc. I think I may need to pick up an Xbox pad as driving with M&K can be a bit of a pain, especially in races. Might be good for a few other games.

Is the XBone pad worth it over the 360 version?

I think the last thing I did in the tutorial was bringing the car to the mechanics to get it insured etc. and that was it, once I did that, I was able to buy cars + apartment.

Looking back on the apartment, I think I should have gone for the cheaper tinsel towers instead as IIRC they are more central and closer to certain places.

~2 years unchecked, i think my case had been sucking in more than it blew out :/
it looks brand new now though

EDIT: CPU cooler was almost spotless, i have a fan on the side of my case blowing air out, i think it was causing air to get sucked in from the back, through the card, then out the side,
going to change side fan to blow in instead, shoud make a difference

That's my exact build, except i have 16gb Ram. It runs fine on "High". I'm also clocked at 4.5ghz.

Have you got Textures set to High? If so how as when I set textures to high my GTX770 runs out of memory 2500MB+ and can only have Normal set.
