eBay Advice

Small update...I never replied to the last message. Unfortunately ParcelForce isn't doing me any favours as of today the still haven't delivered the parcel. She just sent me the this message:

Tell her to shut up.

She is simply trying to lay it on thick. Ebay will do nothing as long as the item arrives, as clearly in the listing it states

Delivery: Estimated within 4 working days

what a ******,

tell her to do one.

Tell her to shut up.

She is simply trying to lay it on thick. Ebay will do nothing as long as the item arrives, as clearly in the listing it states

Delivery: Estimated within 4 working days

People are pathetic... do anything to swindle a few bucks.

You purchased a 24 hour service from the proceeds of the auction, not from actual P&P costs that she herself has paid for. Since you are the purchaser of the service from ParcelForce, I would still chase them for reimbursement. Tell the buyer that you will indeed be chasing ParcelForce up, but as she has not specifically paid for P&P costs she is not due a refund of any amount.

It's then up to you if you want to give her a refund as a goodwill gesture, it depends how much you value your feedback. It sounds to me that if she doesn't get a lion's share of the postage costs, she will just leave you negative feedback. I would alert eBay to this threat.

Ebay morons strike again. Tell her to stop whining. I reckon this is going to be a long, drawn out issue I'm afraid.

in the past I have found things to or from NI generally are not next day no matter what you pay.

She is probably not trying it on either, perhaps she is stuck as she says but its out of your hands and hers. She knew the risks with postage and that was that your add states 4 days, it also states postage on the monday.

She is winding me up with her threats and it has nothing to do with me

Send her a turd in a jiffy bag and see if that gets there before the laptop. Then you will have literally pooed through her letterbox.

Thinking about it, if you can get the item delivered back to you instead of her you will be doing yourself a favour. God knows what else she will moan about when she receives the item

You purchased 24hr delivery as promised on the listing. Not your fault that she lives up the arse end of the country!

Tell her you're sorry, but realistically she's lucky you aren't asking her for the £34!

Tell her to lodge her own complaint with parcel force - we know they won't do anything anyway, but at least its her time she's wasting.

I would 100% say:

"I will be refunding the postage cost that you paid on this item, I hope this is enough for you to be happy with the item. I am sorry that it took so long to arrive, but as the ebay listing shows Estimated Delivery Time is 4 days i have done nothing wrong.
Much Love"

I can sympathise with her I really can but also with you.

However I think that it's unrealistic of her to expect business class service and guarantees from a regular person selling something they do not want/need any more rather than a business. If you were a business using the bay as a selling platform then yes, I think she'd be reasonable to have some level of expectation but not from a normal person selling their stuff on.
