Cheers for the guys that advised me on settings for my 670 2GB.

Running everything on high (FXAA/MSAA turned off), and still a rock solid 60fps unless I'm looking at the forested area on Chiliad at dawn/dusk, but thats only a few seconds until it gets sorted.

Is it me or has GTA 5 taken step backwards from GTA 4, ok the graphics are great in gta 5 and it runs smooth, but the game play, driving physics, ragdoll effects, in GTA 4, and other stuff, still feels way better, and it was more challenging!
GTA5 feel like a bland experience, and dumbed down, dunno maybe it just me, or do others share the same view!

Driving physics in GTA IV were awful, im glad they have sorted that. Not challenging just bad.

Might be your controller software?

I'm using a PS4 pad and have no issue with it whatsoever. And not ran into many errors, launcher runs fine.

The Razer Orbweaver and 360 controller are conflicting. The only time i've ever had this issue is with BF4 and GTA V. They work together like a charm in everything else.

The general fix is to disable the Razer in Device Manager under HID. Problem is it works only 50% of the time and halfway through a game it can suddenly stop the 360 controller working.

Its ridiculous in all honesty. Two AAA games with budgets that dwarf most game devs yet they cant get this to work while the others have no issues.

I had the same thing yesterday I deleted the GTA 5 folder from here:

C:\Users\your user\AppData\Local\Rockstar Games

and here:

C:\Users\your user\Documents\Rockstar Games

I also removed social club from here:
C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games
C:\Program Files (x86)\Rockstar Games
C:\Users\your user\Documents\Rockstar Games

Been fine ever since. But mine is the R* downloaded version and not the steam version.

This will force it to reinstall social club and the other folder from scratch without nothing being left behind.

yeah, there are specific missions that are for 1-2 players.

Has anyone managed to get this added to their Steam Library as a non-steam game? I've tried but it just doesn't run, wondering if I need a launch option or something.

Anyone else getting weird frame skipping or very slight stutter? might just me but it doesnt feel right.

I had to do a few things to fix micro-stuttering:

a) Drop the distance scaling
b) Installed latest drivers

4GB RAM
3GB R9 280

I know the min spec is Core2Quad but was just curious if I would be able to run it on this setup.

Where do you find Packie from GTA4 as a heist member?

Not sure if its the right character as I thought its Paddie McCreary or somit. I found him when I was casually driving and near me was this shopping centre or somit and had two robbers holding it up wanting me to help so I did and turned out it was one of the Irish lads from GTA 4 as he asked to be thought of if any jobs came up. Dunno where in city it was tho sry.

Just south of Franklyn's house at a kind of shopping centre in the area called 'strawberry'. The shop he is robbing is called something to do with pills. You can get him as any of the 3 characters

Good luck with that CPU, I would be surprised if it's playable.

They should have shipped it on a 60gb USB stick :/
