We go to America in July for a 2 week holiday, I was thinking this might be a good time to buy a new gfx card to update my 7950.

I believe I can bring back items worth up to £370 without being stung by taxes etc, so this could be a nice opportunity to save some cash.

Has anyone done similar? Im hoping the new cards might be released by then.

Looks like EVGA do global warranty. Thats pretty decent.

I guess Ill see how things look when I get there. The prices look very good online. A good bit cheaper than UK prices.

Its cheaper but people forget to add us sales tax then all of the sudden its not so cheap anymore. If the exchange rates were near to 2:1 like they have in the past it may still be worthwhile.

Evga is world wide i bought a 670le in canada and it died when i was back here a week laters.

Posted to germany under rma and got upgraded to a 670 ftw for free.

I read an article of someone in Taiwan buying an EVGA card while in the USA, it developed a fault and he sent it back to the HQ in Taiwan fine without any problems.
