I doubt it. What's bad for the UK is generally bad for Scotland. Even if independence did happen, we'd still be closely linked and the prosperity of both nations would be closely tied. The SNP need a prosperous UK as much as the rest of us. They'll fight the Independence corner elsewhere, by making a song and dance out of every bit of legislation that they don't agree with.
I like Nicola Sturgeon, she's a true Scot and she has the balls that prove it.![]()
This new lineup of leaders terrifies me. Apart from the david and nigel the rest seem like communists. If labour and snp won i think they might destroy the country.

Agreed. Commies in disguise. "but we need to vote in alternatives".... Not that kinda of alternative we don't! Be careful what you wish for.

Keep pushing that, they will get swallowed in Westminster like the small fry they are. I am more for splitting the union more and more with the nationalistic evil crap being sprouted from the SNP they are doing more harm than good. But then it will be to late for Scotland to see and i will be laughing all the way to Tesco`s while them up north of the border will be grumpy on the way to the foodbank.
I applied for postal/online vote.
Just received a letter from labour personally addressed to me thanking me for registering for a postal vote.
How do they know??!?!?!!?!? it's the same bloody woman running in my area that sent it.
It's even got my polling number on it
Are they the current council?
If I recall correctly the names of people is open on the electoral roll & the data is open, I'm guessing as to if you decided to vote my post is also shown.yea but yours don't basically tell you "hello we know you registered to vote by post make sure you vote labour"
Is there an electronic elect roll or whatever all parties can track? or is someone in employment a labour supporter harvesting data for them?

yea but seems kinda underhanded if not all parties have access to the information
They shouldn't be using their position of power to target voters?

A few corrections:
Net immigration is around 200K, of that only half comes from the EU. So you are wildly wrong right form the start.
"all someone has to do is get inside the borders of the EU"
Which is very difficult and controlled. Entering the EU illegally does not give one the right to free movement, illegal immigrants are a completely different story.
"Not many UK citizens are likely to want to do the reverse and move to Romania for instance"
Which is simply false, around 40% of British emigrants go to EU countries.
Do you consider yourself to be an expert on everything? You are coming across as a bit of a pub bore.
