Purchase Decisions, what do you look for?

to replace TX will be impossible this year, because it would take one hell of an AMD Dual card to do so..........therefore it looks like this years upgrades are over, because a monster Dual card will only ever be any good if i was on 4K

the next upgrade has to be the TV :eek::eek::eek::eek: and by God that'll be expensive.
 
Price/Performance ratio
Noise

I don't like to buy without reading positive reviews about the particular item. Strong offers can also twist my arm.
