The lag is unbearable in MP sometimes, I'll put entire rounds into people and it does no damage, then stop firing, 3 seconds later they die.

No idea what the hell is wrong, never lagged this much in a game before. I can't play outside a car, the lag is too much, just get destroyed by everyone

Not in there for me. You sure your not using a crack? Tut tut.

Not that i have any issues but i find it strange there is a avast issue when i run that program with no issue.

Well all I did this evening was exit the game and mess around with some Nvidia settings and the problem occurred on my Steam copy.

Seeing that is has also happened to a number of R* supplied users as well....

I guess there was an update..... not sure which... Avast or GTA

Nope, I don't pirate software. Fully purchased through Greenmangaming. I suspect there's been an update to the launcher and Avast is not happy with it. It's only started occurring tonight.

When the server works properly and there is no downtime this becomes the (fun-wise) best videogame of all times.

Also finally sorted out my rubber-banding/warping/stuttering

I found that if I enabled Vsync in the game, at times it was drop to 30 FPS and hold then back up to 60 FPS

This was causing my GPU to fluctuate between 90>% down to 50% then back up... it was a mess.

So I have disabled Vsync in game and Forced Vsync in Nvidia control panel both globally and game wise and it has gone away all together...

The only Frame drops I now get are in grass and built up areas and that is only as low as 48 FPS

GPU now steady at 95-99%

Hope this helps someone.

What sort of GPU will max this on my rig at 1080p? I only intend on upgrading GPU now, ROM & CPU / MOBO later.

Loaded this up tonight for first time in a few days, roughly same gpu usage of 90% on both 780's..but performance is definitely not what it was...anyone else getting this?

I adjusted the pic so it was not to big and needed spoiler tags as per forum rules. Anyone else seen this? Might be the GPU on its way out, not to fussed as upgrading in a week. But it is only on this game, it is also a rare bug, seems to happen when it rains.. 2gb 6950

Windows defender or whatever its called flagged up GTA exe as a virus earlier so not just avast!

Can someone show me an image of your gta v folder contents please? i installed sweetfx etc and need to remove it for VorpX, but im not sure if i have too many files, or dll's i do not need, so i can remove them, thanks.

I think this epsilon program mission is bugged. It asks me to pay 10k and nothing has happened. Looked t my online statement and it seems I have paid more like 30k for some strange reason and still no map marker :mad:
