****The Official The Avengers: Age of Ultron Thread ****

YES YES YES.
HULKBUSTER ARMOUR!!!
I want more!

I think we saw a glimpse of this in Iron Man 3, but it was never used to fight, just to lift a building in the sea bed (I think). This time we get to see it used on the HULK!

The suit in Iron Man 3 wasn't the Hulk Buster suit but rather a "heavy lifter" suit (Mark 38). The suit in these Avengers trailers is definitely a lot more bad-ass. I mean there's Tony, inside the Iron Man suit, inside the Hulk Buster suit...kind of like the Russian doll of the Iron Man world :D

What happens if you get into a plane with Thor, he puts the hammer in your bag and then gets off the plane, what happens to the plane?

Yeah, but you wouldnt be worthy, so wouldnt be able to carry it, but if it were in the air at the time how would that work....
Infact was the hammer not in one of the flying carrier things in the Avengers...

The missus has now watched all the Marvel movies and we finished with Guardians Of The Galaxy last night. She already has a crush on Iron Man, Thor and Loki.

We're booked for the midnight showing come Thursday! IMAX 3D in Gallery seats. She's never done a midnight showing before. I think this will be my 15th midnight showing. It helps that we live 5mins away from the cinema. :D

Just realised it's only three days away :o

Avoided all clips they've put out so far.

Same here. By the time you've watched them all, no point in seeing the movie! I don't understand why they release clips. I do feel bad for the American's cos they don't get it til May 1st!

It's not about the hammer being on the ground or in the air, it's about the person trying to lift it being worthy or not. It doesn't matter where the hammer is, only that you have to be worthy to pick it up, else it won't move.

That old clip with all of them drinking beers in Stark Tower and then they all try lifting the hammer - it's sitting on a glass coffee table, umpteen floors up in a skyscraper, it's not on the ground.

So what happens if you try to lift the coffee table its on? I'm assuming you'd be able to pick it up (indirectly) otherwise if it was on a plane it would never take off. So the rule about lifting it only applies to direct contact

It's maaaaagic!

You could handwave and talk about "intent", "will" and "the hammer itself having some kind of sentience", but in the end, you have to say it just works the way it's supposed to.
