**The Official Everything MMA Related Thread**

Might be an idea to put your comments relating to results/performances in spoiler tags for a few days following an event - it seems to be the general etiquette on here!

Great event though!

Tough to pick between Rockhold and Van Zant for performance of the night - both exceeded my expectations!

That sounded a tad *****, but if I haven't watched an event I avoid certain sites like the plague. Sometimes I get caught out on YouTube and Twitter but to open a specific MMA thread and then complain about spoilers from people watching along? Hmmm.

I know and I agree with you - thank God that Sky Sports News doesn't show MMA results!

I'm just aware of the etiquette in this thread that's all!

Massively impressed by Max Holloway in that event, he schooled a very dangerous fighter in Cub Swanson. Incredible how much he's improving, and at his age he could be a serious contender within 12 months.

Loved that Van Zant not only won, but completely destroyed Herrig, who came across as a complete bully douchebag on the ultimate fighter.

Rockhold is legit as well, he's massive for a 185'er and has no weaknesses in his game. Next title fight after Weidman and Belfort?

Max Holloway was amazing, he wants to fight Mcgregor which i think is a bit soon, but he's coming on leaps and bounds and mixes up his attacks very well.

Rockhold IMO would beat Weidman, literally looks a different weight class, and i cant see Weidman being able to stop him. However Belfort vs Rockhold tougher to call and i do think Belfort will be Weidman.

Is it not UFC 186 tonight?

Not the strongest card in the world but at least rampage now fights.

Indeed it is tonight - like you say though it's not the greatest line-up! To be honest even Rampage's return doesn't interest me that much - his last few UFC fights were pretty boring imo - and although I've not seen any of his fights whilst with Bellator, I can't imagine him being a couple of years older will help with his energy levels!

I watched one of his Bellator fights, thought his energy levels were poor in the one I watched!

Bisping - Dollaway is the top fight tonight for me

Blows my mind that the UFC are charging sixty dollars for this poverty card in the US; I could watch it for free right now, but there's not a single fight I care about so I'm going to bed.

At least UFC 187 next month is stacked.
