Yeah I'd agree with that. GOTY for me last year

Couldn't get into it.

Graphics were good without being amazing and game play is very much a one trick pony (all be it an original one).

Maybe I need to give it more than a couple of hours perhaps but then I gather it's quite short as it is.

Not for me this one at least...

Capsized I really enjoyed and is worth the £1.99 asking price for it's soundtrack alone...

I never played any Dragon Age or Mass Effect games, might have to cough up the $5 for that bundle (and add more games to the ever growing list).

Do you have your own business or are exempt from vat?
I ask because I used g2a for the 1st time recently and had to pay the vat.

nope.

just on the drop down just said i was outside the EU (which was already chosen for me)

None of them know whether you paid for it, let alone whether you paid VAT or not.

If the storefront doesnt bother checking if you're supposed to pay VAT when asking you to pay, i very much doubt they're going to double check later, contact the platform and say you didnt pay the extra 50p or whatever.
The only one who might care will be the taxman, but they'll just abuse the storefront for failing to charge customers tax, but the taxman will get what the taxman is owed, regardless of what the store does.

Essentially, nothing will happen.

Be wary, officially that is tax evasion.

I'd happily argue its not evasion if you're paying an invoice they've provided you.
If he's been selected as being in the UK with 20% VAT and opted to tell them he's outside, that is evading VAT, you cant evade something you werent asked to pay.
Its also about 50p, nobody is getting a knock on the door or a letter through the post demanding their 50p.

It is each individual's risk to take, not really one worth taking for 50p, even if you are somehow sure you won't be negatively affected.

Yeah, really its just not worth it. But then the same can be said the other way around, plus the taxman doesnt really care about the customer, they'll demand their cut from the store.

I've ordered a handful of games from Kinguin, like sub-£5 ones, sometimes for me but usually for others so they can play a game i'd bought ages ago now its dirt cheap, and since Jan i've always paid the VAT even though it ends up adding about 30-50% onto the advertised price (VAT + PayPal fee) but that said, i still dont believe that if they didnt detect you as an EU citizen themselves, they're highly unlikely to come back and spot that you were later on, and if they dont, are the tax auditors likely to go through millions of transactions with a fine tooth comb and do it too? If you got caught not correcting their failed attempt to detect you as an EU citizen (note: not the same as you falsifying your IP or telling them your not in EU) then i'd stick a few quid on the lottery, cos the odds are about the same i'd imagine.
