Scrappage advice please asap

Need some advice guys!!

I've just bought a new Kia yesterday

And was given £500 for my old corsa but yet on the local Kia site it says a Minimum of 2k regardless
of the car is working or not?

As my car does not run/work

I think I'd ask the garage rather than OCUK.

Qualifying citeria:
Scrappage Car must have been registered prior to 1st April 2008
Scrappage Car must have a valid MOT and Road Fund Licence
Scrappage Car must have been owned by the registered keeper for at least 12 months
New car must be owned by the same registered keeper as the scrappage car
Scrappage Car must be clear of finance and pass an HPI check
Allowance valid for orders placed after 31st March 2015
New vehicle must be paid for, registered and delivered prior to 30th June 2015. We reserve the right to exclude certain factory order vehicles as we cannot guarantee delivery date.

OnT: As above, you should probably just ask the garage. But it sounds like you've already agreed to the deal and bought it...?

Sortinf out the finance work Monday but was in their yesterday so hoping to catch them but it's only as parents bought it up I was happy with 500 tbh

The last line "paid for" would that be limiting the deal to fully paid purchases and not financed ones?

I think you should ring the dealer and ask.

Ring the garage and ask for the dealer principle, he is the boss as far as the public is concerned.

Just a question, if you bought the car yesterday would you not have sorted and agreed how much your scrappage was before signing the deal?
Anyway, as above, ring the garage and see what they say!

Doesn't say that on the website and if its a scrappage scheme what does it matter if its roadworthy or not? :confused:
