What did you do to your bike today?

only good in a straight line though,id feel a wally riding that

imagine if you came off it and it fell on you,it would crush you like a grape

good technical achievement though to shoe horn a v10 in a bike frame haha

Took it out for a good run & then bought it back for a bit of a clean, Touched up the black right at the bottom of the fork legs as well as it was a bit chipped.
Bike started sweet & is so easy to ride it's like nowt else I've had before, You just sit there & enjoy the ride it's great. Still plenty of punch to over take as well & you don't need to drop a gear either just wind it on.

Cut a hole in the back of my shed so it fits in there now (Yer I know I'm so *****), Have screwed a piece of wood across that holds up a big piece of Black pond liner stuff being attached at the top it's just pushed out by the back of the bike & will let the rain run off away from the shed. I'll get the wood tomorrow & will build a box on the back of the shed to secure it again.

Should be getting the Clamp/Holder for my Widescreen Satnav any day soon so once I have that I'm going to install it on the bike & then I'm good to go.

Apart from riding it I'll just gradually clean it up to my standard as & when I fancy it. Got MOT till Feb, Taxed it online last night, Insurance all sorted for the year yesterday just point me in any direction. :D

I can feel a Seriously long run coming up today. Yesterday went out & about & was out for hours & came home thinking I'd only been out a couple of hours. You Young'uns can keep your Great looking wind machines this fella is Officially Old Biker Dude. :p

What you lot doing today, Owt or nowt ? Talking of wind I've finally got a bike that suits my size & gets me out the wind & O Yes today wind speed ? 3 mph :D

Thinking of running the Gurnigel mountain pass if the weather holds up.

Any of those White lines look amazing, You have to do them all surely. :p

So since having my Trophy I've been invited to...

Switzerland (Cheers Kreeeee)
France
London
Buckinghamshire
Leicester
Cleethorpes
Cornwall
Dorset. Not bad going for 48 hours or so ownership. :D

Frank staffy dog is looking at me all suspicious with a "I've not gone yet you old ****" :p

Will be able to get about all over the UK for now though.

Had it just over 6 months, Got it with 7029 miles up it & handed it over with 9990 miles exactly. :D

Get out of my head !!! :p

Lets be honest folks if the Ape had got sick it would have cost untold to sort it out & you know as well as I do it's not if it's When.
Main reason for sale is it's just to much riding a Naked for 2+ hours having a visit then a 2+ hour ride home, Being 6ft 5 I take the full force of the wind on the Shiver which is great for an hour or so but 2+hours sitting at 60/70s done my head in & I even had to stop.
Rode the Triumph home took about the same time about 2 hours 20 & like I said above it's a different World. It'll be a pleasure doing the run now not a pain.
Only right I should have Triumph anyways. :D

First 3 of the plate is GU5 so I'm calling him Gus. :D Gus likes being back home where he was born. :p

Noooo, you got rid of the shiver!:(

So, now you have a sensible bike, only right you need an extra bike, something for the weekend... ;)

Had the biggest tank slapper I've ever had, literally thought 'this is it' but managed to open the throttle (I had time to consciously think I needed to do this!) and it sorted itself out...

Going to book in for suspension adjustment as I weigh about 50lbs too little for the stock suspension set up and I've removed 25lbs from the bike with the new exhaust... Didn't feel much like riding after that funnily enough, I had no brakes once it'd finished flapping as the pistons had been forced back in.

It still seems absolutely crazy to me that they don't include dampners on 600 sportsbikes, they easily have enough power to tank slap, even at road speeds never mind if you ride them hard or take them on track.
First thing I would do is fit one if I had one, cant stand riding my friends ZX6 as the steering feels all wrong without one.
