Anyone done this? Purely a vanity thing for me but I'm considering it for some tiny blemishes and one tiny spot above the cheek that has recently appeared. The doctor prescribed me fusidic acid cream which removed the redness for a while but it comes back.
I rang the skin clinic today who said I have to have a doctor consultation first which is £99 to £140. I've no idea what it would cost to remove a few blemishes or even just a single spot. Is laser treatment worthwhile? Any other good companies other than the skin clinic?

I went for laser treatment once for a really ugly spot on my shoulders!! It was really bad!

Doctor refused to laser it off as he said i would die if he removed my head!! :D

Had a spider naevae right on the end of my nose for a year. Bright red blotch. The Mrs went to have some moles removed at a private skin clinic and I went along with her. Thought why the hell not, it was bothering me so I had it zapped. Cost £25 for the patch test and it disappeared with just that. Easy, very professional, no pain.

I just popped into the skin clinic branch near me for a chat. In fact the girl asked me to point out the spot, so it's not something that stands out. But it bothers me. Anyway, she said the other flat blemishes (which were never spots) can be removed but the spot, which is my main concern, can't be. She suggested going to my doctor again to see if could possibly be an ingrowing hair causing the spot and redness. I hope it's that because then it can be solved. For the blemishes though, she said £170 covers all blemishes in an area of 1 x 1 cm but that it could take 3 treatments and they have a 3 treatment package of just over £400. That plus the consultant fee is over £500. I won't bother. I can live with the blemishes, but if they can't laser a spot then there's no point.
