- ''The Stug'' ( prefferably female :D)

And finally: Andy Wilman, Jezza, Hamster and May...


I'd love for them to do a big massive FY to the BBC :).
 
Hopefully on Netflix.
Netflix realise how good TG is, as it's on every region.

It all comes down to who bids the most. It seems certain they'll make another TV show somewhere else now.
 
I personally hope not on Netflix, the idea is great, the UI is terrible. Wish they used Popcorn Time as a reference/example for a user friendly UI. More quality settings ( let people force 480p/720p/1080p), let people choose audio tracks ( eg. Japanese, Eng dub, German dub, French original audio, etc...)

It's better now, but when I tried it for a month, I couldn't even use ENG subs, but either NL ones or none :(.

When Netflix fixes it's UI/user friendlyness, and makes content the same accross the globe, I'll definitely subscribe. Having different content/rules for each country is old way thinking imo.

And has nothing to do with Netflix and it's easy to over come.

Region is still down to the movie companies. Put regions in or we won't sell you the license.


Ui isn't great but its fine and brilliant for the price,
Plenty of sites that you can use to find stuff, then just search in Netflix once you know what you want to watch.

Netflix is still by and far the best movie/TV supplier. And one of the cheapest.
 
The best LEGIT supplier :). But fair enough, I can imagine webrips coming out immediately after something airs on Netflix ! :)

Perhaps Netflix is indeed better, means no annoying commercials/pauses like on most TV channels!
 
So no senior producer, Clarkson, May or Hammond in the new age Top Gear.

With all the rumours of the the new hosts... No thanks. It's almost like they don't know what made Top Gear popular in the first place.

Its really wont now.
The problem is the three of them had some good histories with car makers, like Porche knew Hammond would always be in their cars and know hes a fan, May loves Ferrari, Clarkson anything with massive power and Mercedes etc.
If you want proof look at how badly some of the other countries home grown versions have faired.

Thats 'other countries'. TG will still succeed. Even if they had monkeys presenting it!! ( Oops, that was the Clarkson and his 2 buddies!)
 
So its been announced by top gear Chris Evans will be leading the show? Thoughts?

I don't like the guy, probably won't watch it anyway
 
It's quite ironic that Top Gear's demise was through a single punch and now the guy who is probably one of the most punchable 'Celebrities' in the UK is brought in to front it. Smart move by him though tying them in to a 3 Year Contract knowing full well it'll be canned after a couple of Episodes :D
 
Chris Evans loves himself too much so it won't be funny any more,
but it's not like we are overrun with car shows.
TV is for women, men's interests don't get a look in any more.
