Hi there, wondering if any owners of h110i GT or similar setup can advise on the best fans for this rad... only reservations I have is that it look good in a 650d and ideally the fan be non-LED, if LED, then red or white probably.

I've had a look around various forums/posts etc. but cannot seem to find a decent round-up of 140mm fans for rads, so any help would be greatly appreciated :).

:D

I am beginning with testing of 140mm fans really soon if it helps. The stock fans are pretty decent in terms of performance, but aesthetics being so personal you have to give more info on what you want.

yes that sounds great would love to see your results :), performance/noise is most important for me, aesthetically I will consider any really just a slight preference for colour (if LED).

It's not the most up to date, but this will give you a rough idea until vsg28 does more recent fans :

If you click on each fans name in the article index it'll show a cfm / db graph for its performance through a radiator & a table at the bottom showing the results as numbers.

ooh thank you I'll check that out later when I get home, looks good from first glance though just what I was looking for :) :D

I have a couple on order to replace the ridiculously loud fans that came with my Coolermaster 140xl, I will let you know what they're like when I get them.

Well I dont have anything scientific but the temps seem slightly better at full speed and it is a hell of a lot quieter. The main difference is that I can knock the fan speed right down now and still get excellent temps. Not cheap but very good.
