Asus VG236HE, Cant get 120Hz to work :(

So....
Recently I bought an Asus VG236HE monitor, and have had it for about a month now trying to get the 120hz to work.... and well... Nothing...

I've been on plenty of other forum threads trying to see how other people might have fixed the issue and have done various things so far like replacing the original cable that came with the monitor to a Belkin Professional Line Dual Link, also removed all of the drivers and did a fresh install, as well as some messing about with the settings. Nothing has worked so far.

Im all out of ideas now and really hope that i didnt blow the money in to 120hz for nothing....

Any help would be great!

Selecting 120hz in monitor preferences should be all that is required.

When I select 120Hz, the screen goes blurry and you cant see anything.

Use Display Driver Uninstaller to remove the driver and try another one,i have the same monitor as you working fine @120hz.

Please help me haha XD

I already Did the fresh install of the Latest Drivers, and I have used the ones before the latest and neither of them have worked

Any suggestion on which exact driver could sort this issue ?

Already tried two cables, The one that came in the box and then upgraded to a Belkin Professional Line Dual Link and still the same, I guess it wont hurt to try yet another cable I just dont want to waste money on cables for no reason

Any other possible solutions whilst I try look for a different cable?

Tried both of the connections and wouldnt work on either

Its an EVGA GTX 680 2GB
