OK... when the heck did this silly **** become the norm?

Am I really the only one who finds this clinically insane?

We come into this world stark ******* naked... for the first few years we suckle on a naked teet (it wouldn't be much use if it was clothed).

Yet... for some strange reason... the female body is found abhorrent by society even more than the mans.

And using "bad" language (irregardless of context or intent) is one of the most frightful things someone can hear or read.

But someone beating the **** out of someone is perfectly fine.

You know what... I think I'm OK with being the mad one in a clinically insane society, I think that brings me slightly closer to the truly sane ones...

Can't see a boob over breakfast, but someone being shot in the back is perfectly fine.
D'ya know what? I'd much rather have that the other way round.

Boobs with Brekkie!

It's comes from the prudishness from the US, although going by US TV these days, particularly from the likes of cable (HBO etc), it's got a lot better

I recently finished Sons of Anarchy. A show full of blood, violence and death, but swearing? Certainly not! That was banned. :o

This is exactly what ustv is like. I've woken up to Silence of the Lambs being on at 8am on a weekday but you can't say ass, even after 9pm.

Agree with the OP to be honest.

Just look at video games for example, as evidenced by a thread from a few months ago, many parents are perfectly happy to let their kids play GTA, COD, etc. which are full of violence, but the moment there's a bit of nipple on show, or someone gets told to "**** off", they're frothing at the mouth in a Father Ted-esque display of "Ban this Sick Filth!".

There's a discussion going on on a popular photography forum about their nude and glamour section turning into porn, and with it being a family friendly forum this shouldn't be allowed.

Now it's in a section labelled "Nude and Glamour" so you can't just stumble across it.
Plus
If the person browsing the forum wants to see pictures of naked ladies I'm sure having to go through the Forum is more long winded than typing "naked girls" into google.

Admittedly I don't want to see a big slices of ham with my morning coffee But nice pert boobs are ok

In a world where people can't be trusted to moderate themselves, they have to be moderated for the sake of those too sensitive to let something that would offend them pass them by.

The act of moderating and fall out there of is more bearable than outraging decency.

Always used to make me laugh on US TV, you'd see someone cause a car crash or shoot a person in the head yet in all the sex scenes the woman would be wearing a bra.

There was a factoid on Radio 2 the other day I thought was relevant to the no swearing policy on here, due to it being 'Family Friendly'

83% people in the UK swear on a daily basis, with an average of 14 expletives used per person every day.

I think the children already get a lot of exposure to naughty words :p

That always confused me with film ratings as well, film about kids being made to kill each other for the entertainment of adults 12A. Film about a healthy relationship between two adults that has some nudity 15 for you sir, 18 if your not careful. It's all a bit bizare
