Seems a bit fishy too me trader selling a car for 2 grand for that make and model would expect to pay 3k ,07 plate Astra buy it or run for the hills lol ?

Mileage and spec? 07 plate Astras are starting at about 1200 quid (for a working, non written off one) so 2k doesnt seem unusual if its a higher mileage car

Vauxhall Astra 1.6 16v Design 5dr 64k mileage can link the ad if ok? just seems too cheap the competition is a thousand pound more locally not like its 200 quid less

It looks tidy, go see it and judge for yourself?
Make sure you do HPI checks and take it for a long run if possible

I did see that one when I was looking at others

It does seem cheap but its a low end petrol astra - its not exactly the height of desirability. Looking at the rest of the dealer's stock, most of it is a lot more expensive. It might be a wrongun or it could be a legitimate trade in that he got and wants to get shot of quickly. 2 grand is more than he'd get at auction and if he can sell it quickly then it would still be worth it for him. It's worth a look if thats the car you want I'd say

Rear bumper looks like a slightly different shade to the quarter panel, also number plate on rear has different branding to the front one. Possibly rear-ended and repaired?

hmmm possibly the bumper on the left hand side doesn't look like it lined up properly with the quarter panel where the wheel arch meets it, or is it my eyes lol looks like a step in the join

That's definitely been in a rear end shunt, just look at the panel gap between the boot and the tail lights, not to mention the different shade bumper.

Nice catch, doubt I'd have noticed the difference in number plate or its potential significance heh, good one to remember for the future.
